Protected Learning Time 2025/2026
Protected learning time is available to GP surgeries to allow clinical, management and administrative staff opportunity for learning and professional development needs.
Please see PLT dates for this year below. On these dates, the surgery will be closed for staff training from 1pm onwards. There will be no clinics available and we ask patients to contact NHS111 or dial 999 in case of an emergency.

You and Your General Practice
You and your general practice (YYGP) has been developed to help patients understand what to expect from their general practice and how they can get the best from their GP team.
